Acrylic Tilers Primer 1 litre

This primer is ideal for plasterboard, cement boards, gypsum plasters, screeds and many common construction surfaces. It penetrates the surface to reduce absorbency and bind loose dust. This creates a consistent, stable background that helps stop adhesives from drying too fast.

The Acrylic Primer 1L can be used in two ways. It can be applied neat when sealing very porous or gypsum‑based surfaces. It can also be diluted 1:1 with clean water for general priming. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of projects, from bathrooms and kitchens to full wet‑room installations.

When used neat, 1 litre covers around 7–10 m². When diluted 1:1, 1 litre covers 14–20 m². This gives excellent value and ensures you have enough product for most small and medium‑sized jobs.

The primer is a water‑based polymer emulsion, so it is easy to apply and simple to clean from brushes and rollers. It also contains a colour pigment that highlights primed areas. This helps you see where the product has been applied and ensures full surface coverage.

Once dry, the primer creates a strong, stable base that improves the grip of tile adhesives, levelling compounds and waterproof membranes. It helps prevent movement, reduces the risk of failure and improves the durability of the final finish.
